As advocates its not enough to know about the child's disability or health care issue its critical to understand the educational systems, have good relationships with schools, and know how to access services students need to make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). Knowing what to ask for and how to ask for it is as crucial as the details of each child's needs. Arizona Advocates have the ability to make positive change for students in school. We ask the hard questions, make people accountable for the actions and recommend interventions and services so families can be informed consumers when attending school meetings. When requested we are thrilled to negotiate side by side with you to get your child's needs met in school.
